**The Supply Room is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant (SEMH Support) **to join our team and provide **support to various year groups across KS2 at a school in Willesden Green**. This long-term fixed position offers a competitive pay rate of £81.76 per day.

Qualifications:

- No formal qualifications needed, but having Grade C or above in GCSE (or equivalent) English and Maths is essential

**Experience**:

- **Previous experience of working with children is desirable and will be beneficial to the role**

**Responsibilities**:

- Support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in their learning and development
- Assist the teacher in creating and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with SEMH needs
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, reinforcing learning and providing additional support
- Help create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with the teacher and other professionals to develop strategies and interventions for students with SEMH needs
- Support students in their emotional well-being and social skills development
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the teacher
- Assist with classroom management and behavior management
- Support students during transitions and help them develop coping strategies

**Requirements**:
