**Job Purpose**

Working side by side with the Senior Project Manager you will support our project management activities. With your assistance our change projects and initiatives will be successfully designed, planned, implemented, monitored, and evaluated.

As part of a flexible, respected, and supportive PM team, you’ll be empowered to work with a whole range of stakeholders and collaborators, from our internal staff, GP practices and Primary Care Networks, to local and regional partners and members of the public that access our services.

**Key Areas of Responsibility**
- To assist colleagues with programme reporting, business planning, information management and analysis as needed.
- Assist with the development and management of detailed project plans and dashboards, aligning to milestones and project outcomes, risks, and issues.
- Proactively monitor progress, issues, and risks for projects.
- Act as a conduit between technical, operational and clinical teams using strong communication skills.
- Facilitate effective and appropriate communications including the drafting of communications to be shared across all stakeholders.
- Work at pace in an innovative environment where there is a need to identify solutions and adapt readily.
- Upload reports to ensure all actions, activities and information owned by the team are on track and actioned.
- Support the delivery of assigned projects with other teams and colleagues to secure successful outcomes.
- Assist with ensuring project outputs are of a high quality and produced on time and within budget, in line with the requirements outlined in the project plan.
- Identify and raise risks and issues as they arise, working with the team to develop contingency plans to manage conflicting priorities between stakeholders with differing expectations.
- Co-ordinate the governance process to ensure the Board and any sub
- groups are held to schedule and supported as required.
- Provide regular updates to providers on the progress of workstreams, managing and supporting any amendments, requests, and issues as necessary.
- Create and develop methods to capture and evaluate partner feedback to identify gaps, barriers and challenges to the workstream and / or identifying potential solutions.
- Support the development of new pathways, processes, and policies for the delivery projects.
- Create regular project reports for the programme board/sub-groups showing progress against milestones, status, resource requirements, issues, risks and dependencies, making recommendations where a range of options may exist.
- Ensure compliance with all confidentiality and governance requirements.
- Be a champion for best practice, ensuring that quality and outcomes are the focus of all work undertaken.
- To attend appropriate continuing professional development and training events, team meeting and supervision sessions.
- To attend mandatory training and abide by policies and procedures on safeguarding, health and safety and equality and diversity.
- To carry out, from time to time, any other appropriate duties in line with capabilities as directed by the line manager.

- 5 GCSE’s or equivalent
- Educated to NVQ level 4 or equivalent relevant experience
- Understands the role NHS/Primary Care has in our community and how working collaboratively can improve services.
- Knowledge of social care and health matters.
- Awareness of key relevant legislation such as but not limited to health and safety, financial regulations, employment law, commercial law, Data Protection, GDPR and FOI in a primary care service provision setting
- Experience of undertaking detailed, intensive and accurate work in a busy administrative environment.
- Has comprehensive IT knowledge, and has applied this to the production of reports, communications / briefings and other mediums in Microsoft office; includes data analysis skills akin to advanced excel
