**The role**: We are seeking a Digital Beauty Editor. You will be at the heart of our company's expansion, using your passion for nails and beauty, and your prowess in creating compelling, SEO-optimised content. Your work will not only aim to enhance our SEO rankings but will also aspire to secure features in leading beauty magazines and websites.

This role will be based working out of our office/warehouse in Newport, South Wales where we will be creating our own photo studios.

**Skills and Knowledge**:

- At least 3 years of experience in an equivalent role, ideally in the beauty industry.
- Comprehensive understanding of the nail and beauty industry - familiarity with HONA products is a plus.
- Proficiency in developing SEO content strategies, conducting keyword research, and producing high-ranking written content.
- Experience in backlink outreach and answering journalist requests.
- Experience in testing and reviewing beauty products, including individual reviews and product round-ups.
- Excellent written and editing skills, with a knack for producing compelling content that aligns with industry trends.
- A self-motivated and driven individual who can swiftly adapt to challenges and tight deadlines.
- Outstanding organisational skills and efficient time management.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Fulfil the content strategy for HONA, by creating high-quality, SEO-optimized written content that promotes our brand, attracts backlinks, and enhances our online visibility.
- Continuously improve content strategy based on SEO insights, performance metrics, and industry trends.
- Identify and build relationships with influencers, bloggers, and journalists in the beauty industry to secure high-authority backlinks.
- Monitor, analyse and report on the success of content strategies, providing regular updates on backlink acquisition and online visibility.
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and training seminars, creating engaging content about these events for our online platforms.
