Basic Assembler

We are recruiting for a permanent Metal Work Assembler at a long established Electronic Manufacturer in Blandford Forum.

You will be joining a friendly team, based at their Workshop in Dorset.

The primary role is to build control panels:

- Prepare control cabinet enclosures for wiring
- Work from mechanical drawings
- Accurate measurement and marking of metalwork
- Drill and punch holes
- Fit DIN rails and trunking
- Fit relays, contactors, transformers, PLCs, timers, inverters, terminals etc
- Fit lamps, switches and other door 'furniture'
- Accuracy and neatness are essential

**The Person**

Essential skills:

- Previous use and experience with hand tools
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills and an understanding of verbal and written English
- Excellent attendance levels and attitude

**Hours**:
Working hours: 36.5 hours per week

09:00 to 17:00 Monday to Thursday

09:00 to 16:00 Friday

**Salary**:
£11.00 per hour

Occasional overtime is paid at x1.3 Monday to Friday and

x1.5 at weekends.

Commutable from Bournemouth, Poole, Weymouth, Dorchester, Salisbury, Yeovil.
