**Primary Teaching Assistant - Immediate Start in Stoke Newington**

Are you passionate about supporting young learners in their educational journey? The Supply Room is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join a lovely school providing exceptional support to Key Stage 1 students in the vibrant community of Stoke Newington.

**Role and Responsibilities**:

- **Support Classroom Activities**: Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons that cater to the needs of KS1 students.
- **One-on-One Support**: Provide individualized support to students who may require extra assistance with their learning or behaviour.
- **Small Group Work**: Lead small group activities to reinforce learning objectives and facilitate peer interaction.
- **Resource Management**: Prepare and organize teaching materials and resources, ensuring they are accessible and utilized effectively during lessons.
- **Behaviour Management**: Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment by implementing behaviour management strategies and supporting students' social and emotional development.
- **Assessment Assistance**: Assist in the administration and marking of assessments, as well as tracking and recording student progress.
- **Communication**: Foster positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents through effective communication and collaboration.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Experience**: Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
- **Passion for Education**: Demonstrate a genuine passion for education and a desire to make a positive difference in the lives of young learners.
- **Adaptability**: Be flexible and adaptable, able to respond to the varying needs and dynamics of the classroom environment.
- **Teamwork**: Work collaboratively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive school culture.
- **Communication Skills**: Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students and adults alike.
