An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the e-roster team as a band 6 operational lead.

We are seeking a dynamic professional with excellent computer skills and understanding around the importance of e-roster and Safe Care systems.

Main duties of the job

Training & Qualifications

Essential criteria
- Educated to degree level or equivalent learning/experience
- Post graduate qualification or equivalent learning/experience

Experience

Essential criteria
- Proven experience working in an analytical role
- Detailed analysis & validation of various types of data to inform assessment of performance of complex organisations and to help identify opportunities for improvement.
- Experience in the use of IT systems.
- Experience of working within a digital services role within a Healthcare setting.
- Experience of ‘one to one’ and/or Group training delivery.
- Provision of a support service to end customers.
- Advanced skills within Microsoft office products (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel and MS Teams etc).
- Experience of delivering IT information systems training in a hospital setting.

Desirable criteria
- Detailed knowledge of relevant NHS data and information processes
- Familiarity with a range of analytical tools used in service improvement projects.
- Detailed knowledge of ESR functionality and reporting
- Knowledge of eRostering functionality and reporting

Communication and relationship skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and team working skills
- Ability to communicate complex (potentially contentious or sensitive) analytical issues to data literate persons or groups at various levels
- Able to interpret the client’s needs, to ensure that the most appropriate data/information is provided
- Ability to deal effectively with a range of queries from Directors, Managers, project leads and clinical staff
- Ability to explain to colleagues in informal settings a range of data, measurement and analytical topics.

Analytical and Judgement skills

Essential criteria
- Innovative thinker with the ability to identify and consider alternative ways of enabling data to be collected and presented where conventional options are not available.
- Able to act as an expert in field of data capture, manipulation and dissemination.
- Ability to manipulate data from a variety of sources and present in the most appropriate format (maps, charts, tables etc). Ability to analyse, interpret and present highly complex information from large data sets

- High level of numeracy with good problem solving and attention to detail
