Drive to different locations to deliver and collect gas cylinders.
- Manually handle and connect gas cylinders.
- Understand and comply with LPG legislation (training will be given)
- Maintain accurate records of all sales transactions and deliveries.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines at all times.
- Any other duties as assigned by management.

**JOB PURPOSE STATEMENT**:

- To work effectively as part of a team, assisting in yard and as part of the delivery team.
- To provide excellent customer service to all clients while making deliveries

**Driving and storage Focus**

**1.** To load all vehicles in accordance with the Company safety policy.

**2.** Prepare slip trailers in readiness for deliveries from and to Calor gas Ltd.

**3.** To keep interior and exterior of vehicles clean at all times.

**4.** Report all defects and assist department director in ensuring these are repaired on a timely basis.

**7.** To ensure that digital tachographs are checked, ensuring that they have been completed correctly and that drivers have not contravened any regulations. Report any contravention to the department director.

**Skills and Competencies**

**Required**
- Attention to detail.
- Good communication skills (In English, both verbally and in writing).
- Interpersonal skills with the ability to build good working relationships internally and externally.
- Physically strong and able to cope with heavy physical workloads.
- Ability to work under own initiative and in a team with the ability to demonstrate this;
- Responds to customer queries and feedback in a positive manner;
- Must have drive and energy and be self-confident.
- Full UK driving licence & C1 7.5 Tonne license.

**Knowledge and Experience**

**Required**
- Proven experience of working in a team.
- The ability to learn, undertake and pass ADR (dangerous goods licence) and other industry specific related courses.

**Hours of work**
- 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday mornings.

Pay: £23,554.00 per year
