We are a looking for an experienced and organised cook to join our kitchen team on a temporary basis here at Abbotsford Care Home on a 44 hour a week contract.

We are a friendly, multicultural home who are looking for a cook to cook English, Caribbean and Asian food.

Brief Job Description:

- Ensuring that the kitchen is a safe place to work
- Preparing all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
- Preparing the weekly food shopping list
- Operating standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintaining a clean working station whilst adhering to health & safety standards
- Assist with the cleaning and organisation of kitchen and equipment
- Able to demonstrate an ability to manage pressure, prioritise tasks and communicate effectively at all levels.

Qualifications Required: Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate.

Previous experience in a busy kitchen environment is required.

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week
