London, United Kingdom Global University Systems Full time

Are you passionate about the music industry, well-connected with experience promoting gigs or organising industry panels? Do you have an enviable network of industry and artist links and love connecting people and promoting talent?

**About the London College of Contemporary Music**

LCCM is the highest ranked provider of music performance and music business degrees in the UK by student satisfaction (NSS 2019 - 2022) and our graduate outcomes are the best of all the contemporary music schools in the UK with 80% of our graduates in high skill employment (HESA 2021). Our students absolutely love The Music Box, our custom built six storey creative hub in Central London featuring four recording studios, a 120 cap fully licensed venue as well as classrooms, performance and practice rooms, three Mac labs, piano rooms and soundproofed edit suites.

**Position**:
We already have a reputation for attracting, nurturing and producing switched on, industry ready talent. Our graduates are musicians, songwriters and producers working with the likes of George Ezra, Dua Lipa & Jordan Rakei; artists in their own right like Tom Walker, Sans Soucis, Joy Anonymous or Rhys Lewis and rising executives at leading music companies like Warner, Universal, Sony, MERLIN and Live Nation.

We want LCCM to be the first place the music industry turns when they are looking for talent—be that session musicians, artists, soundtrack composers or executives— and to continue filling The Music Box venue and studios with talent nights, industry showcases, debates, exciting collaborations and live broadcasts.

**Requirements**:
**About the role**

We are seeking a driven and self sufficient industry liaison officer to lead our efforts to achieve these goals and deliver added value to our students and graduates in terms of careers advice and opportunities to enhance industry links.

You will build bridges with key industry organisations including trade organisations, HR departments, music managers, A&R and artists seeking out new talent. You will champion our success stories and build up a portfolio of our students and alumni to match up opportunities and track outcomes. You will be responsible for coordinating industry related guests, masterclasses and partnerships for our venue and studios across the year, working with students, academics and industry partners.

We already host our weekly Music Industry Mondays featuring an industry talk followed by 10 Open Mic slots. We have weekly instrumental & vocal Jam nights across multiple genres from Jazz or Soul one week to Rap or Gospel the next. Our venue and facilities are regularly used by industry organisations including the BPI, AIM and UK Music. You will be responsible for continuing the success of these events, input your expertise into student run events, attract further industry partners and influencers, new talent showcases and anything else you make happen.

This is a full time role with a combination of office hours with plenty of student contact, administration and planning alongside an exciting variety of evening and weekend events. Based at the The Music Box and working with our marketing and education teams you will report to the Operations Manager.

Applicants to send cover letter and CV by 29 February

Salary £32k-£35k depending on experience.
