As the Credit Controller / Accounts assistant, you will report into a Management Accountant to assist with credit control, credit limit reviews and allocation of cash.

The majority of your time will be spent assisting the Finance team to deliver daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly results.

Duties as the Credit Controller Accounts Assistant
- Credit control
- Sending monthly statements
- Housekeeping of customer accounts
- D&b KYC process
- Cover for Cash allocation and update of cashflow
- Review of credit limits for upcoming projects
- Adhoc - other accountancy duties that arise

The Credit Controller Accounts Assistant will need the following Technical/Professional Knowledge and Skills
- Experience in an accounts office with strong credit control experience.
- Excellent computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel/Office
- Good knowledge of accounting packages - Navision 4ps would be advantageous but not essential
- Good level of business understanding

It’s essential that you have good computer skills - Microsoft Excel/Office in particular.

Experience of working in an engineering environment or similar with experience using Navision 4ps is desirable

On Offer
- Pay rate of £12.50 per hour
- Hours of Work 37.5 per week (8.30 to 17:00)
- A 6 month contract, hourly paid, paid weekly
- Initially you will need to be in the office full time for training, then you will be on a hybrid working pattern where one week you do 3 days in the office / 2 days home and the next week 2 days in the office and 3 days at home.
