Edinburgh, United Kingdom activpayroll Full time

**Description**:
At activpayroll, our success is your success. We pride ourselves on our ability to provide a truly global service while never compromising on local talent or expertise, and our fantastic teams across the world are unwavering in their commitment to our clients.

As we continue to grow our business, we are excited to be recruiting for a UK Payroll Administrator to join our team in either Aberdeen, Edinburgh or Glasgow. We're taking a hybrid approach to office and home working
- for this role we'd typically look for 1-2 days in the office, but we're happy to discuss how this might look for you as part of the recruitment process.

**And now for the technical bit...**:
We are a fast paced and busy payroll bureau, so you will have a fantastic portfolio of varied clients that you will own and deliver for across the whole payroll lifecycle.
- You’ll be hands on managing your own client portfolio, processing end to end UK payrolls, importing payroll information into our payroll software and maintaining payroll records
- As this is a busy bureau role, your portfolio will be varied with a range of weekly and monthly payrolls for clients with small headcounts, up to large corporate organisations (and everything in between)
- You’ll be the focal point for your clients, managing any queries they might have and giving them fantastic customer support
- You’ll have an eye on service delivery, looking out for opportunities for us to make improvements to our processes and procedures that can support the ongoing development of the team
- You’ll ensure that we are diligent and compliant with record keeping, keeping our client payroll manuals up to date and ensuring that manual checks and calculations are accurate and that we are compliant with Data Protection regulations

**Does this sound like you?**:

- Proven experience in UK Payroll processing, ideally in a bureau or accountancy environment, however if you are working in-house and are looking for a change then we’d love to hear from you
- Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation
- CIPP qualification would be ideal, but not essential
- Customer focussed with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and tasks with a focus on accuracy and delivery

**What you can expect from us...**:
While we might have built our success on generating payslips, working for us means a lot more than that to our employees every month. Here’s what you can expect from us:

- **Saving for the future** - you'll join our Group Personal Pension Plan, and have access to free pension clinics with a financial expert
- **Peace of mind** - our life assurance plan gives invaluable financial support to your loved ones when it’s needed most
- **Cashback on healthcare****:

- **we take the pain out of everyday healthcare costs with cashback on everything from dental work and physiotherapy, to aromatherapy and reiki
- **Wellness on demand**:

- you'll have access to our online wellness programme where you can access health and lifestyle assessments, GP appointment and prescription services and on-demand physiotherapy support.
- **Subsidised Gym Membership**:

- we'll support your physical wellbeing with a subsidy of up to £25 per month on your gym or sports club membership
- **Cycle To Work - **your chance to** **do your bit for the environment and reap all the health benefits of cycling and outdoor activity, all while saving on tax and national insurance
- **Support for whatever life throws at you - **our comprehensive Employee Assistance Programme give you access to advice, counselling and guidance, whenever you might need it
- **Everyday savings** - through our employee discount site Perkbox, you’ll find thousands of discounts and offers to help you save money on everything from fashion to fridges, holidays to healthcare or DIY and days out.
- **Spread the cost on tech** - our Techscheme can help you lighten the financial load when it comes to big tech expenditure like an unexpected broken washing machine, or a new TV
