**Receptionist**
The role will involve shifts on our hotel reception which will be early, late, or mid-shifts and will include evenings, weekends and bank holidays. This role involves a high level of guest care for our many golf, leisure members and hotel guests.
Permanent 40 hours per week.
**Role & Responsibilities**:
As part of the Guest Relations Team, you will be tasked with:
- Assisting the Team and Reception Manager in the day to day running of the hotel reception desk and back office.
- To be the first and last point of contact for guests arriving and departing. To provide a warm welcome, genuine empathy and clear communication to all our guests during check-in, check-out, and any customer questions during their stay
- Managing direct, small group and individual reservations.
- Clear communication with other departments of guest requests, such as table reservations, spa treatments and golf tee times.
- Maintain accurate invoices for the guest stay, showing correct rate, extras, and payment due.
- Deal with any guest enquiry, requests, or complaints promptly, professionally and resolved to all party’s satisfaction before the guest departs the hotel.
- Gain feedback from guests to improve all aspects of the customer journey.

- Warm, welcoming, positive personality
- Clear communicator, good listener, accurate and professional manner
- Calm under pressure, able to deal with a very busy reception desk
- Well presented, enthusiastic and passionate
- Previous customer service experience
- Previous reception or reservations experience
