**Job Title**: Fine Art Customs Coordinator

**Reporting to**: Customs Manager

**Location**: Based in either London (SE15 1LE) or Iver (SL0 9JQ), with flexible remote working policy once probation has been completed.

As a member of the Customs Team, you will have a unique role within the company. You will provide essential services to various stakeholders ensuring the smooth operation of the business. You will be provided with additional training and support to ensure that you progress in the role.

**Main responsibilities**
- Being a main point of contact with HMRC for numerous departments including Galleries, Exhibitions, Operations, Drivers, and Accounts.
- Assisting the Customs Manager with administrative duties. This will include processing customs clearances, shipping coordination, and liaising in person with clients.
- Maintaining electronic records for various Customs Authorisations including Customs Warehousing, Temporary Admission, and Inward Processing.
- Preparing customs documents and sending them electronically to Drivers.
- Processing VAT/Duty payments & reclaims with HMRC.

**Requirements**:

- Experience with the Microsoft Suite (Excel, Outlook, Office 365).
- Experience using a customs declaration submission software, specifically Descartes is advantageous.
- Some general experience processing Imports, Exports, T-Forms, SSD’s and portpass generation.
- Comfortable working remotely out of hours when required.
