- Competitive £GBPWe are working with an International Art Transport and Storage company based in London, who are now hiring for a Fine Art Coordinator within their Shipping and Customs department.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create and submit import, export, and transit customs declarations for shipments traveling by air, land, and sea freight utilising the appropriate software.
- Offer guidance to team members and advise on Customs requirements, regulations and procedures.
- Aid in the administration and review of customs records for the company’s customs authorizations.
- Stay informed on updates to customs laws and new systems by attending webinars, taking courses, and conducting research.
- Inform project coordinators of the flights/vessels, routes, freight costs, and supplementary fees that are available and suggest the best choice.
- Coordinating with project managers, airport operations personnel, and other departments (such as transport, warehouse, and finance) to make sure processes operate smoothly.
- Dealing with goods carriers to negotiate pricing and service levels, make goods bookings and see to it that our customers' expectations are satisfied.
- Help keep the timetables for freight rates current.
- After receiving invoices, update shipping costs in AMS, and work with project managers to correct any material undercharging.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience working in the goods forwarding sector.
- Knowledge of using CHIEF to declare customs.
- CDS experience with customs declarations.
- Expertise in customs protocols and practices.
- Driven to advance in a profession in goods forwarding while learning new skills.
- Solid numerical and analytical abilities.
- Capable of working well under pressure and time management.
- Effective internal and external communication and customer service skills.
