**Principal Contracts**:
**Location: Build East in Stratford - post in Southwark and Earls Court**

**The purpose of the position**

The Job Recruiter will support our Construction students by matching them to the best potential roles in the Construction Industry. The Job Recruiter will work with our Construction partners to source job vacancies whilst also building wider networks of jobs in the Construction sector. The role is a target driven role designed to support the delivery of the organisation’s KPI’s.

The role will also involve sourcing and recruiting internal job roles across the business from Director and Management Levels to finding the best new talent for Construction Tutor and delivery staff.

This role would be ideal for an experienced recruiter, internal or external with a proactive, solutions-seeking mindset.

**Job Duties**

External Recruitment Services
- Networking and partnership working to source job vacancies
- Building and Maintaining relationships to generate vacancies
- Identify the recruitment needs of each employer and work with the delivery team to tailor the programmes accordingly.
- Organising and attending job recruitment events internally and externally
- Screening prospective job applicants to evaluate their skills and qualifications
- Entering job applicants’ CVs and contact details into the company database
- Cold calling companies to promote recruitment services
- Meeting with new clients to develop and expand business opportunities
- Achieving recruitment quotas and business development targets each month
- Record and maintain records in line with the Information Management system and funding partner requirements.
- Support the Centre to deliver its aim to deliver social value for the local community
- To carry out any other duties that are within the employee’s skills and abilities wherever reasonably instructed

**Internal Recruitment Services**
- Delivering on the internal recruitment strategy
- Screening prospective job applicants to evaluate their skills and qualifications
- Under taking compliance for recruitment in line with the KCSIE
- Support managers with effective handover of screening information so that they can make informed decisions.
- Entering job applicants’ CVs and contact details into the company database for future reference
- Supporting the onboarding and induction processes where required.
- To carry out any other duties that are within the employee’s skills and abilities wherever reasonably instructed

**Key experience, knowledge and skills**
- Target driven with an ability to achieve results
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Ability to analyse market trends to identify new opportunities
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a growth focused mindset;
- Experience within the construction would be advantageous;
- Experience in the FE sector would be advantageous
- Knowledge of the KCSIE guidance
- Confident, personable and builds exceptional relationships;
- Thinks outside the box to develop new and unique recruitment strategies;
- Excellent communication skills at all levels, combined with an eye for detail;
- Driven by results and exceeding targets

**Qualification and training required**
- Excellent Experience within recruitment (internal/ external) or relevant experience;
The Skills Centre is committed to Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and safeguarding checks will take place. The role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the exemption order 1975,2013,2020 and an enhanced DBS check will be undertaken for the role.
