Our client a well established manufacturing organisation is seeking a SQE Coordinator - Regional to join their business on a Permanent Basis.
- ** Location - Ideally based in Newport or the South Wales area.**:

- ** Salary: £36,000 to £39,000 per annum depending on experience, plus 5% annual bonus (based on financial, operational and personal results)**:

- ** Car Allowance: £5031.48 per annum, paid monthly. Business mileage to be reclaimed via expenses**:

- ** Working hours: 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 4.00pm Friday; making a basic working week of 39 hours**

**Mission - **Implementation of the organisation's health and safety, quality and environmental policies and procedures so that all employees have a safe and healthy working environment and ensure that the organisation meets quality and environmental requirement including applicable legislation, standards and codes of practice.

**Account-abilities**
- ** Conduct safety-quality-environmental audits and on-site inspections to assess conformance with company standards as defined in the safety, quality and environmental management systems.**:

- Complete standard audit checklists as defined in the management systems.
- Identify areas of noncompliance and report these to site management.
- Develop action plans in conjunction with site management to address any deficiencies identified.
- Feedback the outcomes of audits to senior management.
- Identify areas for potential improvements in the management systems.
- Maintain records of the audits.
- Ensure the site meet standards of compliance - safety-quality-environment
- Undertake compliance audits to ensure that the sites are complying with safety legislation, product standards and environmental legislation.
- Identify areas of noncompliance and report these to site and senior management as applicable.
- Develop action plans in conjunction with site and senior management to address all deficiencies.
- Monitor and reassess aspects of noncompliance as required.
- Maintain records of compliance assessments.

**Ensure that specialist assessments are undertaken in safety, quality and environmental disciplines.**
- Identify specialist and non-routine safety, quality and environmental assessments required by the organisation.
- Either liaise with service providers of these specialist and non-routine assessments to ensure that the assessments are undertaken to the specified standard.
- Or undertake the specialist and non-routine assessments t the required standard.
- Assess the findings of the specialist and non-routine assessments, advising the site management of any actions required.
- Maintain records of these assessments.

**Undertake and/or support investigations into safety, quality and environmental incidents.**
- Liaise with site management, supplier's or customer's representatives to ensure that all necessary is obtained in order to undertake or support investigations into safety, quality and environmental incidents.

- Prepare reports of the findings of the investigations including identification of the root cause(s) along with the necessary corrective and preventive actions.
- Communicate findings of the investigations to the relevant management representatives depending on the sensitivity of the information.

- Maintain records on safety, quality and environmental matters relating to the company using the systems provided.
- At prescribed intervals analyse safety, quality and environmental information and provide recommendations based on the analysis.
- As directed by Group SQE provide information to both internal and external parties as required.

**Train, support and mentor company personnel working in the safety, quality and environmental disciplines**
- Identify new personnel employed by the organisation who are required to fulfil a role that has tasks associated with the safety, quality or environmental disciplines.
- Ensure that the identified personnel are given sufficient training in order to be deemed capable of undertaking the required safety, quality or environmental functions assigned to them.
- Support and mentor company personnel who are required to fulfil a role that has tasks associated with the safety quality or environmental disciplines
- ** Assess and approve service and equipment suppliers along with the associated products and services that have an impact on the level of safety, quality and environmental performance within the organisation. **To work in conjunction with site management and the purchasing function in order to assess products and services provided against the relevant regulations and standards.
