**About us**

We are a professional and innovative outside catering company that specialise in weddings, corporate events and private dining. Named regional finalist in this year's national wedding industry awards, we serve South Wales and the South West. Providing menu design and event styling to deliver quality dining and event management experiences is our passion.

The position is 5 days a week, usually Mon-Fri, although when there is an 'outiside' wedding (e.g one not in our contracted venues) you will be required to event manage the wedding and receive the following Monday off in lieu. We currently have 12 weekends in 2023 that will require you to work a Saturday, these dates are known in advance and you will need to be available for all of them.

Duties and responsibilities:
Organising deliveries, supplier liaison & invoice filing
Ordering supplies for the office, disposables and kitchen basics
Filing and organising, paperwork and booking documents
Diary management for temporary waiting staff and kitchen team

Event logistics and kit packing pre/post event
Being onsite for event installations and management of full event delivery
Taking responsibility for events and projects
Managing supplier and client relationships
Creating client proposals and managing budgets
Attending client meetings and venue site visits, tastings
Updating social media channels
Temporary staff recruitment & management

Skills and experience required:
Energetic and enthusiastic, driven to deliver
Diligent and caring, excellent attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A friendly and positive approach to work
A ‘people person’ with a customer service focus
Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Full driving license with own car (a must have, due to office location and event sites)

The base would be our kitchen unit in Rogerstone (NP10 9FQ). A laptop and mobile phone will be provided. Work from home flexibility offered.

This is a maternity cover contract, fixed term for 12 months. However, should certain targets be met, a bonus will be discussed and the opportunity is there to make the position full-time and permanent.

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
