The Professional Services team as part of the Faculty of Science and Engineering provide a wide range of support services to academic colleagues, central professional services, and our student body.
**This is a full-time role predominantly located at our main campus but will require travelling to other sites.**:
The Professional Services team as part of the Faculty of Science and Engineering provide a wide range of support services to academic colleagues, central professional services, and our student body. Whether part of the Executive Support, Student Services, Project Support or Resources team, we work together to provide a first rate, friendly and effective service to our colleagues and students. The Student Services team provide an integrated, high quality and professional service, which advises, guides and supports the efficient and effective delivery of our programme of activities across the Faculty.
The Faculty of Science and Engineering is wishing to appoint a Partnership Administrator to join our outstanding Professional services team. This role will provide administrative support for the Transnational Education portfolio as a priority and support the administrative functions aligned to apprenticeship and professional provision while contributing to the achievements of the wider team. We are looking for a positive, proactive individual who are willing to work together with the wider team, enabling the faculty to grow and succeed both now and in the future. You will be an excellent communicator with experience in dealing with highly sensitive or confidential information. You will be able to work independently or as part of a team, managing competing priorities with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
**PA Role and Responsibilities**
- Act as a Faculty contact point for a number of UK and Transnational Education (TNE) collaborative partners and its students.
- Provide support to Course and module leaders on TNE, Apprenticeship and other partnership-based provision.
- Monitor the delivery calendars to ensure internal and external moderation is taking place in a time with progression points.
- Support the invoicing process to ensure the institution is receiving income on time.
- Monitor compliance in relation to apprenticeship provision.
**PA Requirements**
- Demonstrable experience of providing an efficient and effective support service for colleagues.
- Confidence to communicate with and deal with enquiries from a range of internal and external clients and contacts.
- Experience planning, organising and taking minutes of meetings.
- Proactive and professional approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in particular with and on behalf of staff at a senior management level.
