Reports To: Operations Team Leader

Location: Gillingham

Working Hours:
Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week (06.00-14.30)

Monday - Friday, 20 hours per week (12.30 - 16.30)

Overview:
The position of Operations Assistant covers all jobs and work in the warehouse relating to the receipt, locating, replenishing, counting, picking, checking, packing and despatch of goods; the accurate and timely processing of customer sales orders and returns.

We are looking for an individual with Counterbalance or Reach Truck experience - or a willingness to learn.

Job Responsibilities:
The role holder will be expected to be responsible for the following:

- Completing Goods in Log
- Receiving goods in JDE
- Ensuring all products are Put-away in correct location
- Unloading/ loading of deliveries
- Working Batch
- Working Containers

In addition, you will be required to carry out the following processes:

- Clear 3448 errors
- Clear Emergencies
- Carry out and/ or support cycle counts
- Clear collisions
- Transferring Stock
- Carry out any other reasonable requests as required
- Maintain good housekeeping in line with MHRA guidelines

Job Skills & Experience Required:
To succeed in this role, you’ll need the following:
Qualifications:

- Basic literacy and numeracy are essential for covering the core duties of the role.

Skill & Experience:

- Experience working in fast paced environment
- Ability to work under pressure and to time constraints
- Reach Truck/Counterbalance - _Experience or willingness to learn_
