_**Autism Assessment Specialist Practitioner**_

An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone who is skilled in autism assessment to join our rapidly developing multi-agency autism assessment team. We welcome the diversity that different disciplines bring to our team and we are excited to welcome someone that is passionate about neurodiversity and accompanying young people and families along the assessment journey.

The ASC pathway is in the early stages of development, meaning we are looking to recruit someone with experience and confidence in assessment and implementing initiatives to reduce health inequalities. The post holder would support the Neuro Constellation Lead and ASC Team Lead in allocation, waiting list initiatives, management of risk and providing regular team supervision. They will also take the lead on complex assessments - for example where there are multiple alternative formulations.

**Main duties of the job**
- To provide a high quality service delivery of highly specialist care to children, young people and their families through their assessment journey.
- Undertake risk assessment and risk management for individual clients and provide specialist advice to other professionals on aspects of risk assessment and risk management
- Formulate plans for highly specialist assessment and/or management of clients’ diverse presentations
- To co-lead on the development of the ASC pathway, monitoring effectiveness of initiative implementation.
- Provide advice, guidance and consultation to other staff contributing directly to clients' diagnosis, formulation and intervention plan.
