**Full Time (37.5 hours/week) or part-time (30 hours/week).**

**Hybrid/Remote or based in our Newcastle office.**

A salary of £ 26,250 - £ 32,250 per annum (pro-rata for part-time), depending on experience.

The trainer/tutor will deliver remote online courses and very occasional classroom delivery, plus support learners in completing qualifications by self-study distance learning.

Our office is located just a mile from Newcastle city centre, with modern facilities, free car parking and good public transport links. The role may be required to occasionally travel nationally and internationally to deliver courses on customer premises when required.

Typical duties will include:

- Responsibility for the delivery and assessment of teaching, and assessor qualifications.
- Carrying out initial assessments and induction calls with distance learning students.
- Delivery of training using Microsoft Teams and/or face-to-face classroom delivery.
- Carrying out remote observations and professional discussions.
- Marking assignments and providing feedback to learners.
- Preparing portfolios for IQA, ensuring company policies are followed.
- Assisting with the development and continuous improvement of learning resources.
- Provide appropriate information, advice, guidance and support learners with progression and career guidance.
- Trustworthy, have an excellent work ethic and appreciate confidentiality.
- Confident and proficient with the use of IT, familiar with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams. **Strong IT skills are essential for this role.**:

- Attention to detail, well organised and good time management.
- Experience delivering train the trainer courses.
- Experience delivering training in the classroom and online.
- Commitment to continuous professional development (CPD)
- Willing to study up to Level 5 if not already held.
- Be able to obtain an enhanced criminal record check.

**Essential qualifications**:

- English and Maths GCSE C / 4 or above, or Level 2 functional skills equivalent.
- A teaching or training qualification, as a minimum the Level 3 Award in Education and Training/PTLLS.

**Desirable qualifications**:

- Level 3 CAVA / A1 qualification.
- Level 4 IQA qualification.
- Level 4 CET, Level 5 DET/DTLLS, PGCE or equivalent.
