**Specialist Support Team Leader**

As a Barclays Specialist Support Team Leader, you will be joining a Corporate Operations team within Barclays International Business Area. You will be instrumental in implementing the day-to-day operational running of the team for all processes, engaging at an appropriate level, and using relevant methods of communication. In your new role, you will be ensuring the efficient and effective workflows and processes are in place. You will work with the team to identify and deliver process improvements.

**What will you be doing?**:

- Ensuring team queues are maintained within service levels, Completing, and cascading daily workflow, and arranging relevant support across sub-queues when required
- Working closely with the various Client Support and Supplier teams within Client Service, providing support by coordinating training, coaching and providing regular feedback
- Developing and fostering excellent team working amongst own team and wider Client Service teams to improve individual and team performance
- Driving accountability of performance through professional development of line manager capability
- Demonstrating knowledge of coaching teams, effectively resourcing their areas and managing for value
- Monitoring resourcing to ensure performance is maintained and client obligations met
- Establishing and actively managing personal development plan of the team and seek to improve in areas of development through undertaking the necessary training
- Engaging with senior leaders, to understand their priorities, views on their teams and therefore develop and approach which best meets the needs of the business

- Ability to operate effectively as a leader of frontline colleagues, with a good understanding of the fundamentals required to shape and drive performance
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with clients and stakeholders across all levels
- Ability to build quality relationships in a non-face to face environment, whilst being mindful of cultural differences
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change

- Experience in coaching colleagues in a range of roles in a way that enables them to develop performance and capability
- Excellent organizational, planning, interpersonal and influencing skills

- Confident and approachable to all members of staff

**Where will you be working?**
You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations. The campus is set in a 64-acre self-contained site, in a beautiful green environment and it offers unrivalled facilities for work and for play. We have an onsite gym, as well as outdoor tennis, football, and cricket areas, as well as onsite restaurant and coffee shops.
