The Beeches Hotel is looking for a part time, weekend receptionist to join our team.

As a receptionist, you will be ensuring every guest has a great experience from the moment they arrive at the hotel to when they leave.

**Your duties will include**:

- Welcoming guests and checking their details against their bookings
- Allocating guests their rooms and taking payments
- Answering phone calls from prospective customers and guests
- Taking bookings and completing the booking process using our PMS system
- Taking enquiries for parties, funeral gatherings and meetings and completing the booking process
- Completing administrative tasks such as filing and photocopying and invoicing
- Responding to requests for help and information
- Preparing room bills and ensuring prompt payments
- Checking guests out, taking payments and returning deposits

**Who we are looking for**
- Good Problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Flexibility and the ability to respond appropriately to changing situations
- Able to work with discretion and sensitivity
- The ability to maintain professional standards under pressure
- Excellent administration and organisational skills
- Strong IT skills and knowledge of booking systems and software would be an advantage, but not essential
