**Our portfolio of projects includes work at all stages of the system lifecycle, from concept definition to in-service support. As well as directly supporting systems engineering tasks for our clients, we also offer consultancy services to improve organisations Systems Engineering capabilities and enable digital transformation.**

**Capgemini operates a hybrid working model with a combination of office and home-based working. This role will require approximately half of the time to be spent working on the client site in Portsmouth.**

**Your Role**:
**As a consultant within Capgemini, you will be working alongside some of the top experts in the country, on some of the largest and most complex client engagements across the Defence sector. You will be given the opportunity to grow and take on responsibility from day one in a challenging but rewarding and meritocratic environment.**
- **Concept, design and demonstrator development for novel and complex systems (including supporting the development of requirements, system architecture models, safety analysis and trade studies)**
- **Supporting transformation initiatives for complex organisations involving people, processes and tools.**
- **Consulting with stakeholders to elicit and manage their capability needs and define requirements.**
- **Proposing solutions to address clients’ needs.**
- **Supporting bid work, including costing and technical proposal generation for future system studies.**
- **Engaging within the organisation and with customers, including both military specialists and engineering leads.**
- **Presenting at meetings and workshops.**
- **Producing reports, designs and assurance documentation.**

**So, what do you need?**:

- **Excellent understanding of Systems Engineering theory and processes and being able to adapt existing approaches and define new ones**
- **Experience of leading Systems Engineering activities across complex system development projects**
- **Experience in using Catia Magic (Cameo Systems Modeler) for MBSE implementation.**
- **Experience across multiple MBSE frameworks like Magic Grid, Harmony, Arcadia, CESAM, OOSEM, SYSMOD, CORE**
- **Experience in developing, maintaining and using simulations, and complex information sets.**
- **Experience in the adoption of SysML modelling language, industry standard MBSE frameworks and tools in an engineering project**
- **Experience of working in the defence industry**
- **Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary engineering context (mechanical, electrical, software, systems, safety, human factors, security)**
- **Being comfortable with the handling of ambiguity & uncertainty.**
