Health and Social Care Trainer

1 Homecare is a leading care provider in the industry, committed to delivering high quality care and support to individuals in a community setting. We currently provide support to individuals in Lancashire, Greater Manchester and will be soon providing care and support to individuals in the Yorkshire area. We are committed to ensuring our service users are always kept safe and have the highest standards of care provided. We feel this is dependent on ensuring staff are trained and educated to the highest standard possible.
You will be required to have your own car and able to use this to commute to our various offices to deliver mandatory training, mileage allowance will be paid.
**Responsibilities:
- **
- Deliver comprehensive training sessions on mandatory topics in the care sector, including but not limited to care standards, infection control, safeguarding, and health and safety.
- Develop training materials, lesson plans, and presentations to facilitate engaging and effective training sessions.
- Adapt training programs to meet the specific needs and learning styles of individual care staff.
- Utilize a variety of training methodologies, such as presentations, demonstrations, group activities, and role-plays, to enhance learning outcomes.
- Stay up to date with the latest regulations, best practices, and developments in the care sector to ensure training content remains current and relevant.
- Assess the effectiveness of training programs through evaluations and feedback, making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
- Provide one-on-one coaching and support to care staff as needed.
- Collaborate with the management team to identify training needs and develop training plans.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Trainer in the care sector, with a solid understanding of mandatory training requirements.
- In-depth knowledge of care standards, infection control, safeguarding, and health and safety protocols.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple training programs simultaneously.
- Ability to adapt training methods to accommodate different learning styles and needs.
- Qualifications in training and education, such as a relevant training certification or teaching qualification, are desirable.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach towards care staff and their professional development.

**Salary**: £22,880.00-£27,040.00 per year
