Warehouse Assistant

We are looking for a dynamic and reliable team player to join our warehouse operations. We have an exciting opportunity for the role of "Pick & Pack Specialist and Van Driver" at our company. If you have a keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and enjoy being on the move, this might be the perfect role for you

Our client is expanding fast and looking for additional warehouse staff. The client is keen to offer clear progression within the company for the right person.

We are recruiting for a temporary to permanent role based hear Burgess Hill. Due to location of the role just MUST have your own transport.

**Responsibilities**:

- Pick & Pack:

- Efficiently pick and pack event equipment and giveaways, ensuring all items are carefully prepared for shipping.
- Handle the packing of delicate stock with utmost care to ensure safe transportation.
- Loading & Driving of Van:

- Thoroughly inspect and confirm that all items are packed securely before leaving the premises.
- Operate company vehicles, to transport goods to client sites across the UK safely and on schedule.
- Collections & Deliveries:

- Undertake the responsibility of collecting and delivering of stock items to clients.
- Organise the collection and delivery of various freight and event equipment across different locations in the UK.

**Requirements**:

- Valid UK driver's license with a clean driving record for operating vehicles.
- Prior experience in warehouse operations, picking, and packing is an advantage.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail are crucial for this role.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and deliver items within specified time-frames.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with clients and ensuring smooth operations.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy items when required.
