**Role: Senior Product Designer**

**Location: Belfast, UK**

The Perforce Product Design team crafts simple, efficient, and delightful experiences for a variety of products that improve software quality and security as well as team productivity for several of the world’s leading companies, such as PIXAR, NASA, Verizon, Honda, NVIDIA, Intel, Qualcomm etc.

**Position Summary**:
This position is a research oriented designer role. We are looking for a Product Designer who can interact with sales and support teams and engage with our customers to understand their needs and pain points. Someone who can then articulate these opportunities and help the design team and product team to prioritize and solve those problems.

**Responsibilities**:

- Improve and strengthen our products by connecting and interacting with our customers.
- Drive design ideas from early business needs, through rough concepts, to final, pixel-perfect implementation.
- Create wireframes, low and high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes to communicate design ideas at the appropriate level of detail.
- Design and execute on user research plans that inform our product direction.
- Strong design instincts - understand what works and doesn’t work for people and why, and push beyond the obvious to create compelling human experiences.

**Requirements**:

- 5 - 7 years working in a digital product / user experience design position
- Experience showcasing your end-to-end design process across multiple projects, that include interaction and visual design artifacts, multiple iterations, high-fidelity prototypes, and consideration of the impact and scale of work
- Demonstrable examples of initiatives in non-product dimensions that have made a team stronger and positively impacted the work environment
- Strong portfolio of shipped products in enterprise or consumer internet space
