Workshop Assistant

Hardworking individual required to join our sign manufacturing and installation team.

Your role will include fabrication and assembly of aluminium signs and poster cases, sign packing, local deliveries and sign installations at customer sites nationwide - sometimes requiring an overnight stay.

Previous experience in sign fabrication and of working in a workshop environment would be beneficial and powder coating experience would be a bonus. However we are looking for someone who is generally used to working with tools and good with their hands as we can fully train the right individual. A full clean driving license is also necessary.

You will be a thorough, tidy and methodical worker who demonstrates close attention to detail, happy to work with mínimal supervision and capable of meeting strict deadlines. You can think on your feet and problem-solve, are comfortable working at heights and have a thorough understanding of safe working practices. This is a physically demanding role involving some heavy lifting. Of course you must also be a responsible, punctual individual who displays commitment to the job and a good work ethic.

Hours of work are generally 8.00am - 4.00pm with a ½ hour lunch break, Monday to Friday.
