We are currently working with a leading international educational organisation, providing leading education and qualification to Young Adults from numerous sites across Europe.

On behalf of our client; we are presently seeking to recruit capable Exam Invigilators to cover a series of Examinations due to take place in our clients London (W1) site.

**The main purpose and object of the role**: To provide support to the examination process.

**Main duties**: To support the Head Invigilator/ Examinations Team with the day-to-day operation of examination venues. This may include (but is not limited to):

- assisting with setting up examination venues by laying out stationery, equipment and examination papers in accordance with the outlined procedures
- checking attendance during examinations
- recording details early leavers and collecting their examination paperwork
- collecting and collating scripts at the end of the examination in accordance with strict procedures
- assisting with the preparation of script envelopes

**Other duties**:To assist the Examinations Team with other examination processes, such as (but not limited to)
- packing of examination papers, stationery and equipment prior to the examinations and the delivery to and from venues as appropriate
- preparation of seating plans
- delivering scripts to departmental and school offices.

**Working hours**:we have a timetable of exams which require invigilation over the next six weeks. Exam duration ranges from 1 to 3 hours and multiple examinations can be covered each day should you wish to increase your hours. Alternatively shifts as brief as 1 hour can be covered to suite.

**Person Specification**:

- Experience Experience of working or studying in a higher education environment
- An understanding of examination processes
- Effective oral/written communication skills
- Good numeracy skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Flexible approach to work
- Ability to relate to academic staff and students
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 1 week

**Salary**: £12.00 per hour
