An opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Assistant to join our Sunderland-based client initially on a fixed term basis for 6 months. The role will be based at the Head Office and does support hybrid working.

The position will support the wider senior HR team in the provision of all aspects of HR Generalist support, and also include the following duties:

- Assisting the HR team in providing an efficient service to the client group.
- Dealing with first line queries into the HR department and managing them accordingly.
- Managing lower level disciplinary and grievance cases.
- Managing absence management cases.
- Developing robust HR administration processes which will support the business in achieving key objectives.
- Managing all recruitment administration in relation to induction; contracts; offers and liaising with management to ensure all related requirements are completed.
- Supporting the team in administering HR letters; documents for internal and external use; supplying administration in support of generalist HR activity and presentations.
- Taking ownership of the HR system to manage the HR administration process effectively and timely.
- Assisting with the review of HR Policies and Procedures.
- Supporting with a suite of HR projects.
- Organising any training material as requested by senior stakeholders.

This is an excellent opportunity for a HR Assistant looking to further develop their employee relations experience and work as part of an established, supportive HR team.

Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£29,500.00 per year
