Equans is looking for a Business Support Centre - Apprentice (16-19 years old) to join our team in Strathclyde on a Fixed Term basis of 18 months. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £14,000 per annum and benefits package.
General Overview
The role of the BSC Apprentice is both wide and varied and requires a “can do” attitude with flexibility and adaptability. During your apprenticeship you will experience time with various teams within the Business Support Centre to gain an understanding of the business. You will also be supported, in partnership with Babington Business College through an SVQ Business and Administration level 5.
What will you deliver?
Logging jobs for customers on relevant system
Liaising with site teams and suppliers
Updating Various Trackers
Booking Travel / Training
Using COUPA Purchasing system to ensure 3-way match from raising purchase orders to Invoice payment (including dealing with any queries and ongoing reviews)
Maintenance of office and site supplies, including control and distribution of stationery, telephony and IT equipment, consumables
Collection and distribution of mail / Courier requests
Working to monthly deadlines and KPIs
Reception duties and setting up meeting rooms
Other general support as required by the local and management team.

Who are we looking for?
Enthusiasm, flexibility and team-working
Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision
Ability to work in a fast moving and challenging
PC skills to include Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power
Proven written and verbal communication skills including a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
