Accounts Assistant

**THE OPPORTUNITY**
Introducing a brand-new opportunity within our friendly and supportive Finance team as Accounts Assistant.
As Accounts Assistant, you play a key role in the organisation and within the finance function. You will be working with the Finance Transaction Team leader providing support with the Purchase ledger and cashbooks functions, this will include credit card management and out of pocket expenses processing.
This role will include some balance sheet reconciliations to ensure we maintain controls. You will be comfortable to communicate with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external to ensure these controls are met.

You will be working Monday-Friday, 9-5 and will be based in our Head Office in Banbury. You will have the opportunity to work from home 2 days per week on average, dependant on business needs.

**HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE**
- Monitoring Cashbooks and completing daily reconciliations. Which includes:
- Banks
- 3rd Party payment methods allocations
- Managing processing of credit card and out of pocket expenses
- Management of supplier contracts register
- Producing proposed payment runs for both GFR and GNFR
- Assisting with Sales Ledger management when required
- Working in line with month end timetable
- Flagging system issues to relevant internal stakeholders in a timely fashion
- Continuously developing the function with ERP or external systems
**THE TALENT YOU'LL BRING**
- A previous experience working in a finance department
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to develop solutions and problem solve
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
- Intermediate level of experience in Microsoft Excel
- Self-motivated with a positive and can-do attitude
- AAT Studier or qualified

- A salary of up to £23,000 - £27,000 DOE
- 25 days holiday rising to 27 with length of service, plus bank holiday
