We are seeking to recruit experienced and dedicated Secondary School Teaching Assistants to work in a Secondary School in Swansea. We are looking for Teaching Assistants in or around Swansea who are experienced in supporting pupils in the Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 phases of their learning.

Although not essential, experience in supporting small groups with tasks would be advantageous. The school itself has fantastic facilities and a supportive cohort of staff who create a very welcoming environment and make new members of staff feel at home from day one

**Overview**:

- Title: Secondary School Teaching Assistant
- Immediate start dates available
- Pay: £76 - £90.00 per day
- Location: Swansea
- **Hours: Ad Hoc, Short Term and Long Term - Monday to Friday 830am - 330pm**

**The role: What you’ll be doing as a Secondary School Teaching Assistant**
- Assisting staff members in preparing the classroom for a lesson
- Working with learners on a 1-2-1 basis, as well as general classroom support and guiding small groups through tasks.
- Support the class teacher in the delivery of the lessons
- Engage learners with both classroom and out-of-classroom activities
- Work in accordance with the school’s behaviour management policies
- At least 3 months experience of working with children in schools, nurseries or childcare settings
- References covering the last two years (no gaps)
- EWC registration
- Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
- The ability to drive would be advantageous
- The right to work in the UK
