**Clerk of Works (Bricklaying)**

**Location: London, Wembley**

**Salary: 50k - 65k**

**Company Overview**: our client is a leading construction company specializing in bricklaying and masonry projects. With a commitment to excellence and safety, they deliver high-quality solutions to their clients across various sectors. They are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Manager to join Their team and ensure that their projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement quality assurance procedures to ensure the highest standards of workmanship in bricklaying projects.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and subcontractors to address quality issues and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Utilize technology and software tools to streamline quality management processes and documentation.
- Prepare and maintain detailed quality reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to quality and safety in bricklaying and construction.
- 70% office based however will be required to visit sites around London and 1 site monthly in Birmingham.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality management role within the construction industry, with a focus on bricklaying or masonry projects.
- Proven track record of effectively managing quality and safety initiatives on construction sites.
- Strong understanding of quality management principles, processes, and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate quality requirements and drive accountability.
- Certifications in quality management or occupational health and safety are a plus.
