We are looking for a Training Assessor to join the Make Ready team.

As a Training Assessor, you will oversee and present the current training programme for new recruits and carry out and manage all refresher training to qualified staff. You will administer training programs for employees, assess training and development needs on behalf of the organisation, and help individuals and groups develop skills and knowledge.

You’ll be:

- Overseeing and presenting training programmes for new recruits at all levels within the Dept.
- Carrying out Audits as specified by the Make Ready Quality Assurance Team.
- Especially aware of the need to manage the training programme for junior and middle managers within the Dept. on behalf of the P&QAM.
- Working in close association with the P&QAM in overseeing the governance arrangements within the Dept. that relate to training.
- Managing all refresher training programmes for Make Ready Team with the support of the P&QAM.
- Scheduling training sessions, organize information technology and other equipment, and manage course enrolment.
- Working with managers to address learning issues, instruction problems, or new educational needs regarding specific employees or departments
- Specialising in the specific skills required for the role of ‘Make Ready’ and keeps current on the activities and needs of the Commissioners changing requirements.
- Maintaining understanding of new educational and training techniques and methods

You’ll have:

- 2+ years’ experience in training
- Experience designing and implementing curricula preferred
- Excellent practical knowledge of the external operational functions.
- Demonstrable record of delivery of educational, teaching and training programmes. Excellent presentation skills; engaging, accurate & focused.
- Specialist in accurate Record Keeping, Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety Laws. Methodical, systematic, highly organised
- Full clean driving licence
