**Secondary Teaching Assistant**

**Salary: £78-£100.30 per day**

Seeking an inspiring and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team

GSL Education is looking for Teaching Assistants who are committed to delivering outstanding assistance at our clients’ secondary schools in
**Northumberland**. The schools take great pride in creating a welcoming environment where students are engaged, challenged, and motivated to achieve their full potential.

The main duties will include:

- Supporting the pupils in their education through the national curriculum
- Supporting and managing the behavior of students
- Working with the class teacher to implement interventions
- Supporting and delivering creative and innovative lessons
- Using formative and summative assessment
- Assessing phonics following the school’s chosen program
- Promoting independence with life skills
- Providing an outstanding level of safeguarding and pastoral care
- Be available for work Monday to Friday
- Be proactive, energetic, kind, and caring
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to go through the process with ourselves)
- A fully checkable work history
- In addition to that, we are currently offering £100 for the successful referral of either Teachers or Teaching Assistants._
