RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL

Experience of:

- working with a variety of stakeholders.
- managing digital assets (e.g. social media accounts, website)
- providing a secretariate function for formal meetings, including taking minutes, arranging translation, scheduling meetings, preparing papers.
- preparing reports and formal correspondence (e.g. letters).
- monitoring progress against identified tasks.
- targeting grants from various financial sources.
- developing, coordinating and implementing a programme of activities.

- IT skills including MS Office, Canva (or similar), social media accounts and drupal (or similar).
- Secretarial skills.
- The ability to hold sensitive discussions and respect confidentiality.
- The ability to deal with people of all ages and backgrounds, and the ability to communicate with and influence stakeholders whilst considering their needs / aspirations.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

Speaking and Listening - Advanced
Able to follow a conversation or discussion through the medium of Welsh and English on a professional level and discuss general day-to-day topics in the field in order to present information and express opinions. Able to give a pre-prepared presentation and respond to any comments and questions on it in Welsh or English.

Reading and Understanding - Advanced
Able to understand standard written Welsh and English; both formal and informal.
Able to gather information from various sources such as letters, reports and articles in Welsh and English in order to fulfil the post.

Writing - Advanced

Purpose of Post
In partnership with Cadw, Co-ordinate activity in the Northwest Wales World Heritage Sites (WHS) which include the Castles and Walled Towns of King Edward 1 in Gwynedd and the Slate Landscape of Northwest Wales, to enable the Sites to effectively meet their commitments to UNESCO, local communities, organisations and businesses.
