**About The Role**:
The role will be based in NHSP’s Finance function. You will work within a fast-paced, exciting team in order to support all areas of the business. As a Graduate, you will develop key skills, knowledge and behaviours in order to improve the Financial Management& Reporting of NHSP.

Working within the Financial Management department, the post holder will work under the guidance of a Senior Finance Business Partner and support the wider finance team in providing a high-quality service of information and advice to a range of stakeholders.
- The role is to carry out a range of core duties and to provide organisational, transformational and administrative support within the department.

Key elements of the role include: Budgeting, Forecasting, Month end management reporting, Variance analysis and supporting various business units in order to help achieve growth and financial sustainability. Attention to detail in reporting against budgets and providing timely information by working to deadlines are key.

The post holder should possess excellent communication skills and will be required to explain and discuss the output from their work with their manager and other stakeholders.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Assist Finance Business Partner with tracking of costs, collating month end information and provide variance analysis
- Support the Finance Business Partner with modelling to track performance against pricing renewals - preparing the Excel models and attending meetings with stakeholders for requirement list
- Collaborate with all team members on monthly & ad-hoc reporting - rolling forward monthly reports & formatting reports within Microsoft Office
- Help in the preparation of monthly accrual files for client (Trust Accruals)
- Support team with preparation of monthly accruals and prepayments
- Regularly prepare, update and delivering finance presentations at all levels of the business

**To be successful in this post you will need to have**:

- A Bachelors degree
- 5 GCSEs (C/4 or above) or equivalent including English & Maths
- Experience using Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) in an educational or business setting
- An interest in Finance & Accounting - gained through work experience, personal study or a hobby
- Excellent IT skills
- Polite, friendly, cheerful outgoing personality with a commitment to helping people and providing service with a smile
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Enjoys building and maintaining working relationships Lively and enthusiastic and keen to learn new skills, gain hands on experience and achieve formal qualifications
