We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Logistics Coordinator.

You will be responsible for coordinating and various aspects of the logistics operations, ensuring efficient and timely movement of goods and materials from warehouse distribution to destination. This includes managing transportation, tracking shipments, and maintaining accurate records.

**Responsibilities**
- Obtaining quotes for overseas deliveries
- Assisting with all imports and exports for the business, ensuring these run smoothly
- To be the point of contact for incoming calls for the Logistics department.
- Liaising with the workshop and other departments to ensure jobs are despatched on time.
- Daily follow ups with customers to book in deliveries
- Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with 3rd party couriers and transport companies
- Arranging dedicated vehicles when needed
- Tracking of all despatched orders with our preferred forwarders (JO, UPS and DHL) for failed deliveries/damaged deliveries and following any reported issues accordingly.
- Resolving delivery issues with customers
- The processing and tracking of returned goods, monitoring the costs to the business
- Management of the Kalzip account
- The checking of all freight invoices, liaising with the Accounts department for approval
- Share ideas and recommendations for improvement throughout daily activities and report back to Line Manager
- Regular performance feedback to Line Manager
- Provide customers with an excellent customer service, keeping them informed of the progress of works and expected delivery times
- Manage your time efficiently ensuring maximum output
- Provide support to your colleagues when needed
- Ensure all work is produced to the highest quality / standard
- Ensure a working environment that is safe, clean and tidy
- Carry out other tasks and duties as required and/or directed

**Skills/Experience**
- Experience using Sage 50 and Progress Plus would be advantageous but not essential
- A good understanding of domestic and international shipping
- Knowledge of import/export would be beneficial
- Accuracy and consistency is key to the role, along with the ability to work within a fast paced environment
- Having the drive to learn new skills and systems when required
- A good problem solver
- Being able to build strong working relationships and having the confidence to work with colleagues on all levels
- Proactive and organised

Salary negotiable depending on experience.
