A purchasing executive is **responsible for buying goods, materials, and services for a company**
1. They research vendors, negotiate pricing and contract terms, and ensure timely deliveries
2. Other duties include preparing reports, tracking orders, and reviewing the quality of purchased products
3. The job description for a purchasing executive is strategic in nature and includes maintaining the purchasing policy, choosing suppliers, and maintaining legal interaction with them
4. The executive is also responsible for ensuring that products and services meet quality expectations and developing new relationships with suppliers
5. A top purchasing executive oversees all aspects of an organization's purchasing function and is responsible for planning and directing materials and supply to reduce costs and improve quality
6. The daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on Purchase Orders delivery are also part of the job.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £29,935.00-£37,000.00 per year
