**12 MONTH CONTRACT WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO GO PERMANENT**
A new role has arisen within our growing business where you will be responsible for supporting the Supply Chain/Planning/Logistics function of the company.
**Responsibilities will include**:
- Define, implement & manage a ‘proof of delivery’ process for the Group, to ensure that all goods supplied into Retail are receipted by our customers, ensuring payment in full, for goods shipped.
- Agree methods for improving interface with Hauliers, Third party locations, and customers to maximise pick accuracy
- Utilise various customer portals, and agree a process for challenge, significantly reducing Quantity claims
- Document via SOP’s, working with Supply Chain, Sales & Finance to ensure our ways of working are optimised
**Key Tasks**:
- Obtain confirmation from customers via portals upon delivery to validate quantities received
- Define process to coordinate 3PL records, PODs and transacted Quantities
- Input customer orders into 3PL demand plan tracker
- Extrapolate export data from Works orders for vetting purposes
- Ensure that PODs are submitted promptly after delivery
- Investigate and address the reasons behind delivery quantity discrepancies, build process to improve
**Experience / Qualifications**:
- Strong Initiative and a Self-starter.
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Strong numerical reasoning and data literacy.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with partners and internal teams.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage time efficiently.
- Keen attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
**Desirable**:
- Previous experience of retail supply, ideally within a Logistics setting would be advantageous
**Competency & Behaviour**:
To have a “can do” attitude when resolving issues, being tenacious in seeking root cause and implementing preventative action.
Excellent ability to optimize use of systems
To be approachable, and communicate effectively
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: £26,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
