**The Role**

The role will involve you providing care and support on a freelance basis to adults around the world. You will travel with the guests from the UK on their holidays in a team of Limitless carers providing support. Your days will be varied and may include supporting someone to get up in the morning, washing & dressing, or simply supporting them with mobility during sightseeing day trips while on holiday.

Working as part of a team you will be responsible for providing high quality care and support ensuring the guests have the best holiday experience in a supportive environment ensuring safety and wellbeing of the guests.

You’ll manage their care and keep thorough records including incidents that may arise.

To qualify for trips outside the UK you must have a valid passport with as least 18 months before expiry, and VISA to travel. You can also choose to travel only within the UK.

You can freely choose the weeks you wish to work and travel - and supplement your typical work with 1 or 2 Limitless trips a year, or work back to back trips through the whole travel season, if you prefer. You will be provided with a uniform, accommodation while away, food and refreshments when travelling, ongoing training and the opportunity to to see the world. It is a challenging role but one where you will be rewarded with the experience of a lifetime

Please note - you must be based in the West Midlands for this role, or willing & able to travel to Birmingham for training and meetings.

**Requirements**:

- At least 2 years experience as a carer
- Level 3 or higher qualification in Health & Social Care
- Care certificate and all mandatory Care training (if you don’t have evidence of your training we can provide you with the opportunity to complete the training to gain new certificates, free of charge)
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- A professional, ambitious, and passionate approach to making a meaningful impact on the lives of disabled individuals through travel.
- Experience of using a variety of computer systems.
- Based in the West Midlands for this role, or willing & able to travel to Birmingham for training and meetings.

**What You’ll Do as a Carer**
- Supporting guests with care needs as per the care rota that has been allocated (e.g. personal care, emotional support, pushing manual wheelchairs as and when required)
- Sitting with guests at meal times to ensure that all guests feel comfortable and included in the group
- Engaging with guests throughout their stay in a companionship capacity -providing conversation, laughter and compassion.
- Assisting if there are any guest emergencies and supporting the Care Team Leader/Manager if there are any incidents
- Making our guests holiday dreams a reality
