Gp Receptionist

Duties include:
- Answering the phone and using patient navigation skills to triage appointment requests.
- Dealing with patients queries and requests both face to face and over the phone.
- Issuing repeat prescription requests.
- Scanning, coding and distributing incoming mail.
- Inviting patients in for appointments following test results.
- Adhering to patient confidentiality at all times.
Applicants with experience in a similar role will be considered.
**Salary/hours required**
Agenda for change - Band 2
23.25 regular hours per week to be worked:
Mon - 7.45 - 6.30pm ( 1 hour lunch ),
Wed - 2pm - 6.30pm
Thursday - 2pm - 6.30pm
Fri - 2.00pm - 6.30pm
plus relief cover for four other team members when needed.
It is essential applicants have a flexible approach to work and working hours as relief cover for 4 other team members both early morning and afternoon/evening is included in the role.
