- Position: **Regional Sales Manager - Southern Region

**Re
- Reports to: **Senior Director, Sales and Marketing

**RoleResponsibility**:

- Responsible for the management of the sales staff based in Purfleet and Bristol, in addition to achieving an individual sales target.

**Key
- Accountabilities**
- Manage, mentor, & develop sales team within your region.
- To meet and exceed New Business Revenue / Profit Target both individually and as a region.
- To develop and execute comprehensive account plans and customer engagement strategies for named and new key accounts within your Region
- To be deeply involved with sales process and metrics to drive revenue attainment
- To work in partnership with Customer Services and Planning to ensure complete customer satisfaction to your Client Portfolio
- Responsibility for the effective implementation of new clients
- Responsible for exceeding sales targets in both revenue and profit
- Meet KPIs set within the role
- Contribute to the business intelligence on competitor activity and solution that compete with the product portfolio

**Experience, Skills and Behaviours**
- Ability to manage and motivate a sales team
- Proven track recording in successfully attaining and managing clients with a freight spend in excess of £100k
- Proven track record of managing an existing client portfolio whilst successfully achieving a new business revenue target of circa £1m per annum
- Target driven and experience of achieving and exceeding stretching portfolio targets
- Ability to understand financial, commercial and customer driven targets and objectives
- Confident with the ability to challenge poor performance and deliver marked change
- Confidence and experience in negotiating at a senior level
