- About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity at our central Community Hub in Maidstone (Trinity) for a receptionist to be the face of our Housing and Inclusion Team and the first point of contact for people approaching for housing and homelessness support and guidance.

Trinity is a former church in central Maidstone, which has 23 units of temporary accommodation on the upper floors with the Housing and Inclusion team being based on the ground floor which operate advice and support for people facing homelessness or other housing and health related issues. The building also has a training and resource space on the ground floor which is utilised by internal and external stakeholders.

The post holder will be required to manage a busy reception effectively, managing competing priorities and communicating with a verity of people. The post will also be required to support the day-to-day management of the ground floor area’s including setting up for external meetings, managing the calendar and associated diaries.

About You:
We are looking for someone who has experience of providing administrative support, has excellent organisational, IT, customer care and communication skills.

You will need to be highly motivated, work well within a team as well as your own initiative, with the ability to prioritise and complete a variety of administrative tasks in a busy environment.

You must be empathic towards households facing a housing/homeless crisis and can work well under pressure.
