HR Assistant

Overview:
**Duties**:
- Act as the first point of contact for all HR-related queries and escalate where necessary.
- Monitor the HR department mailbox.
- Coordinate all employment related on-boarding and off-boarding paperwork for new hires and terminations ensuring onboarding and lever process adhered to.
- Assist the internal recruiter with the recruitment process.
- Maintain, advise and support employees on company benefits.
- Other administrative duties or responsibilities as required.
- Maintain employee files and HR portal ensuring data cleansing and integrity.
- Notify managers of absence and probation triggers.
- HR related minute taking.
- Ensure line managers are up to date with changes to any policies.
- Answer any queries from payroll relating to payroll changes on a daily basis.
- Assist compliance with the administration of SMCR code of conduct.
- Consistently demonstrating good Conduct Risk behaviours.
**Requirements**:
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Team Player
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Proven experience in an administrative or HR assistant role
- Proficiency in data entry and working with HR software systems
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with employees
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Must possess the qualities of being honest, act with integrity and discretion
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £26,000.00 per year
