**JOB TITLE**:
**Service Finance & Administration Officer**

**LOCATION**:
**Croydon (some remote working)**

**£17.77 per hour PAYE**

**DURATION/Hours**:
**6-month initial contract/ 36 hours a week**

**Role purpose**:

- The role holder requires a good understanding of Legal Service processes and court procedures (essential) and be experienced working with finance systems and Legal Case Management Systems including reporting. They will be highly organised and efficient and able to process transactional work to assist with the finance processes; legal recharges, purchase orders and invoices/statements and reporting/analysis and interpretation of data.
- Able to organise and monitor contracts and manage payments for our legal services subscriptions and third-party providers for Legal (Solicitors via contract) and Barristers via Framework. Also help to organise the office manual, procedure notes and tidy up the systems folders/files (share point). Good relationship management required with internal clients and partnering external legal provider(s).
- Other ad-hoc duties as required to support the Head of Legal Business, some presence in the office is required. The team are now working hybrid, once day per week WFH.

**Skills & experience**:

- Finance (processes & systems including reporting, budget transactions such as Purchase order processing, invoice processing, budget recharges and journal preparation)
- Admin (Legal services) including Case Management Systems - producing reports (Chargeable hours/Targets) and housekeeping/management reports from the Case Management System
- Contract monitoring/subscriptions management
