We have started an exciting and ambitious project to implement new SAP, ERP and EWM systems in our 520,000 sq.ft distribution centre. This is a huge step in our operational approach with the introduction of new technology, and most importantly, new waysof working.
**The role**
We are looking for an experienced Logistics Operations Manager to help drive our operational change and key functions. These functions include our inbound and outbound activity, efficiency, and service delivery. You will use your experience and understandingof logistics to understand and interpret data relating to operational productivity whilst improving our area performance targets.
Previous experience of developing and motivating a large team will help you to inspire a team of supervisors, team leaders and colleagues to achieve the business goals. All while continuously creating a culture of improvement and development. You will leadthe way, helping to build a strong team and provide direction, as well as encouraging your team to achieve great results. Using your knowledge of high volume semi-automated warehouses, you will help to create and develop our policies, to ensure an even saferenvironment for our people. You will build projects ensuring that all activities are within budget parameters, reviewed and adjusted depending on department performance and volume changes.
