We are now looking for a Data Governance Lead to join us on a permanent, full-time/part-time or job share basis.

**What you will bring**
To be considered as the Data Governance Lead, you will need:

- Experience of implementing or maintaining a company-wide data governance program
- Experience of improving how data is consumed
- Experience in managing conflict and articulating coherent rationales for action
- The ability to forge strong relationships
- An understanding of data architecture and modelling
- Expert knowledge of current data governance standards
- Strong knowledge of data management requirements based on best practices
**What you’ll be doing**
As the Data Governance Lead, you willact as the data governance expert for the CQC and provide data governance advisory services. You willlead the production, development and implementation of our data governance strategies and policies.
You’ll provide robust data governance expertise and detailed advice to CQC colleagues, helping to enhance data literacy and supporting others to confidently utilise and have trust in data.
Additionally, you will:

- Be part of the overall leadership team in data and information management
- Promote the right data culture across the CQC
- Play a leading role in educating and coaching others on the importance of good data governance and data best practice
