**Job overview**:
**An exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual has arisen for a Band 2 Trainee Payroll Clerk to join our Shared Services payroll team based at Darwen, Lancashire.**

We are looking for an individual who has self-motivation, comfortable with working in a busy environment and who has excellent time management skills.

**Main duties of the job**:
You will work as a member of an already established team but must be able to work using your own initiative and have a willingness to embrace new technologies and change. Previous payroll experience would be an advantage, but training will be provided to improve your knowledge.
